Eve wanted to follow her up the big toys too. Ummm I don't think so, but it made for a cute picture:
Eve did follow her into all the smaller toys, like this one (and somehow she even managed to climb up there by herself a couple times):
Look at my little monkey swinging:
She was really sad that she couldn't climb this, but I promised her she would be big enough someday and she was excited about that:

You should have seen some of the looks that Eve got for climbing all over the playground and walking everywhere. I kept getting asked how old she was and all the grade school aged girls swooned over her. Grade school girls always fall in love with Eve and want to pick her up and carry her around. The only problem is that Eve does NOT want to be picked up by anyone but Mommy and she would rather walk around on her own. It's hard to believe that she really is a year old since she only weighs 15 lbs or so. I don't know about her weight right now, but I think that this last week, she has really gotten longer which helps make her look more her age. (By longer, I mean longer for Eve, which still isn't that long but just not so insanely short).
So she still only weighs about 15 lbs?? Parker weighed 18 lbs. 3 oz. at his one year check-up and that put him in the 1st percentile for weight and 3 lbs. makes a big difference percentile wise and just in general when you're less than 20 lbs. to begin with! She's such a sweet petite little thing! LOVE how adventurous Kylie is too! :)
ReplyDeleteAww they're so cute! I hope that by the next time we hang out Cassie will be able to play with the girls too!
ReplyDeleteBecky, by now I'm convinced she must weigh a little more, she woke up one morning looking longer and she feels a little bigger, but I do know that at one year, she weighed 15 lbs. But how much could she really gain in 3 weeks? She's really tiny, and I guess I weighed 16 lbs at a year, so the doctor told me it was genetic. I did get seizures when I was a little toddler which were supposedely due to my small size, hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what percentage she is in because my doctor doesn't do the percentages and the ones online only say: "less than 3rd percentile". When we were at WIC, theydid percentiles and at 6 months they told us that she was in the less than 0.5 percentile (that's a half percentile, kind of confusing, but that means half of one percent, so the smallest out of 200 babies.) I haven't been back to WIC, so I don't know what she was at a year.
Becca... first of all... WAIT? You have a BLOG? And you didn't tell me! Crazy! I'm following you now, but I don't have time to read it all right now because I'm supposed to be packing right now for Manhattan, I can't wait to read it when I have the time!
Oh and Becca, yes I can't wait for Cassie to play with my girls again too!
